| While closing up my parents place, I came upon a number of recordings of my father’s. Much of the subject matter was related to Quakerism. I resolved to make them available on the web. They will be made public here as copyright issues are resolved.
For now, all of the files are in MP3 format and are not small. They will take some time to download. The experience you have will vary depending upon the browser you use. I am disappointed with the experience with Internet Explorer provides. When you click on a link you may have to wait several minutes without much evidence that anything is happening. One way to get around this is to "Right Mouse Click" on a link and then choose "Save Target as...". This will download the file to a location you specify on your computer. It has the advantage of providing a status window while the download progresses. The intent is to provide audio streaming at some point. Chip Thomas 9/28/2011 | |
